AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD (AMEX)
Avis renew its partnership with AMEX and agreed to participate in the American Express Selects Global Program which commences on January 2010 and ends on December 2010.
Avis offers 15% discount on basic car rental (self drive or chauffeur driven) will be extended to all American Express cardmembers (issued locally and overseas) of good credit standing. Cards include Centurion, Platinum, Personal & Gold Charge, Small Business, Gold and Green Cards, Co-brand cards and GNS partners and 5% discount on transfers.
Credit card payments using any of the AMEX cards will be honored in all Avis rental stations in the country.
Discount privilege cannot be granted if transportation is incorporated in the hotel bill in case the renter is billeted in a hotel.
The discount offer cannot be availed by cardholders in conjunction with other existing promotions by either Avis and AMEX and cannot be converted to cash or travel voucher/gift certificates.
Partnership will expire on December 31, 2010
